TW Metals Awarded 2 Defense Supply Center Philadelphia Contracts
Exton, Pennsylvania, November 15, 2004—TW Metals’ Government Business Unit has been recently awarded 2 indefinite quantity contracts totaling over 40 million dollars from the Defense Supply Center (DSCP) located in Philadelphia, PA.
The first contract involves domestic Department of Defense facilities. This domestic contract involves products that range from alloy sheet, plate and bar to stainless sheet, plate and bar. The contract is know as a Direct Vendor Delivery Contract (DVD), by which TW Metals will ship material to multiple Department of Defense locations as required and Just-in-Time (JIT).
The second contract also involves domestic Department of Defense facilities. This contract involves aluminum heat treated sheet and plate products for use by the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and other federal customers. This contract is also a Direct Vendor Delivery Contract.
