TW Metals Awarded Contract For Prime Vendor

Exton, PA, July 27, 2009 – The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center Philadelphia awarded TW Metals a Prime Vendor for Metals Products contract to support the Northeast Region of the United States.

The contract awarded is a $96 million (maximum dollar value limit of $288,000,000) fixed price with economic price adjustment. The contract is managed by TW Metals’ Government Business Unit in Carol Stream, IL. The customers include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Federal Civilian Agencies. The Northeast Region is defined as Pennsylvania, Maine, Ohio, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, West Virginia, District of Columbia, and Delaware.

Jeanne Munch, Government Business Unit Manager, states that “TW Metals is honored to partner with DSCP in their efforts to support the customers throughout the Northeast Region.”

There were four proposals originally solicited with four responses. This contract has a two-year base and three possible one-year options.
