330 Nickel Plate

Nickel Alloy 330 is an austenitic alloy with good high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. Its high nickel and chromium content provides good resistance to oxidation and carburization. Oxidation resistance is enhanced by silicon content. The alloy’s strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures makes it especially useful in industrial heating furnace applications, such as muffles, retorts, conveyor systems, baskets, boxes and various fixtures.

 Corrosion Resistance

Alloy 330 provides a high level of corrosion resistance, particularly to oxidation, carburization, and nitridation. In aqueous environments, the chromium content of 330 provides resistance to reducing conditions. The alloys high nickel content also makes it highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking and sigma phase embrittlement.
